On December 11, 2021, the Reporting Conference of the NGO "NAS VO of Ukraine", which is one of the most powerful and numerous public organizations in the field of education and science in Ukraine, was held remotely using the ZOOM platform.
The event was attended by members of the Presidium of the Academy, vice-presidents, academics-secretaries of scientific professional departments, heads of regional scientific departments, heads of regional research centers and more.
At the beginning of the meeting, all those present observed a minute of silence in memory of academics who passed away in 2021: Zaremba E.H., Ilnytsky I.G., Gladukha E.V., Sinyachenko O.V.
The President of the Academy - Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Academician Tabachnikov Stanislav Isakovych addressed the members of the Presidium and invited guests with a welcoming speech. He stressed that the system of education and science in Ukraine is in the process of its reform. In addition, it received new challenges and vectors of development in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, thanks to such meetings, domestic scientists and educators have the opportunity to highlight the results of their own research, learn about the achievements of leading scientific schools of Ukraine, participate in discussions, share experiences, including how to overcome the effects of COVID-19 on education and use various tools. sustainable development (including providing comprehensive and equitable quality education and encouraging lifelong learning opportunities for all), meet with respected educators and scholars. The President also thanked all those present for taking the time and opportunity to attend the event and stressed that significant steps have been taken during 2021, which greatly contribute to raising the image of the Academy among the domestic scientific community and internationally.
At this extended meeting, honorable and distinguished participants of the meeting were awarded academic honors, diplomas of the winners of the competition for the best edition of the year, and newly elected academics and corresponding members were awarded diplomas and certificates. The report on scientific and organizational activities of the Academy for 2021 was discussed and approved.
At the end of the event, the President of the Academy, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Acad. S. Tabachnikov once again thanked all those present for their constructive and fruitful work at the meeting; congratulated on the upcoming New Year and Christmas holidays; wished everyone in the New 2022 good health, peaceful skies, family comfort, creative inspiration, further professional achievements in the scientific and pedagogical field. He also assured that the NGO "National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine" does not stay away from the reforms taking place in the domestic system of education and science, the completion of these transformations requires hard work, consolidation of efforts and cohesion of scientific and educational community of Ukraine. And only in dialogue and cooperation it is possible to help improve the development of scientific research and improve the educational process on this basis in higher education institutions of Ukraine!
